Welcome Independent Filmmakers! Hopefully, you’ve come to terms with the fact that there are no set rules to making a great film. Granted, you need good actors, a strong script and a good director to bring the script to life. And of course, having Jean-Paul Gaultier (the costume designer from “The Fifth Element”), with a perfect filming location in British Columbia, the perfect natural lighting and a million other things won’t hurt either. These things would be nice, but still no guarantee of a good film. Just look at Water World.
So, in the end, there is no magic formula to making a great film. There is no sage writing web pages who will give you all you need to know about such an intricate process. (Although, some of us on this project like to thinks so).
